Bramham Over The Centuries

A Sketch of Bramham College

A Sketch of Bramham College Lodge

Built for Dr Haigh this lodge was situated at the top of College Lane on the Great North Road. It was used as a private house after the College closed and was demolished to make way for the first by-pass in the 1960's. There were also two cottages just off the picture on the left; they two were demolished in the late 1960's and two modern ones built in front of where they stodd. Hidden by trees on the right was a Gas Works built by Dr Haigh to supply gas for the college.
