Description of 7-C Bowcliffe Hall - The Jessica Blackburn Story

1. An obituary in 'The Times' for Jessica Blackburn who died aged 101 on 14 May 1995. She married Robert Blackburn, founder of Blackburn aircraft, in 1914 and was a participant in the King's Cup races in the 1920s. Her financial backing contributed largely to the early success of the Blackburn company.
