Description of 3-D 1The Priory

1. Jean Hardy continues by relating how late in the 11th century the owner, Nigel, donated the land between Headley and Oglethorpe to the priory of Holy Trinity, York. The history continues through the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries with stories of the families and the religious connections, mentioning also the formation of the rabbit warren in 1254 as an important source of food.
